How to measure
For the most accurate results, measure in dancewear and keep the tape level.
- Chest: around the fullest part
- Waist: narrowest point
- Hip: around the fullest part
- Girth: from shoulder, through legs, back to shoulder (for leotards)
Pointe shoes
Pointe shoes should be fitted by a certified specialist. Brand, box shape, shank strength, and alignment all matter.
Apparel
Leotards, tops, and bottoms
Use girth for leotards first, then confirm chest/waist/hip for comfort.
