Size guide

Find your best fit

Sizing varies by brand and style. Use these charts as a starting point, then contact our team for fit guidance.

How to measure

For the most accurate results, measure in dancewear and keep the tape level.

  • Chest: around the fullest part
  • Waist: narrowest point
  • Hip: around the fullest part
  • Girth: from shoulder, through legs, back to shoulder (for leotards)

Pointe shoes

Pointe shoes should be fitted by a certified specialist. Brand, box shape, shank strength, and alignment all matter.

Apparel

Leotards, tops, and bottoms

Use girth for leotards first, then confirm chest/waist/hip for comfort.

Size Chest (in) Waist (in) Hip (in) Girth (in)

If your measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort or contact us for brand-specific guidance.

Tights

Tights & undergarments

Height is the best starting point, then use weight for a smoother fit.

Medium5'2"–5'7"110–140
Large5'6"–5'10"135–165

Footwear

Technique shoes

Street size is a starting point. Fit depends on brand, toe shape, and preferred snugness.

Ballet slippers & jazz shoes

  • Expect a snug fit with minimal wrinkling
  • Try with the socks/tights you will wear in class
  • When in doubt, ask our teamβ€”brands vary

Tap shoes

  • Allow room for toe articulation without slipping
  • Lacing tension affects fitβ€”bring a second pair of laces if needed
  • Break-in changes feel; we can advise by style
Pointe shoes: always book a fittingβ€”pointe sizing does not match street sizing.
